Great hotel and friendly staff. It’s not a luxury hotel but we enjoyed all the facilities. Great breakfast!

I'm rating this hotel based on when I booked it for the price I booked it at. I booked the hotel a few hours before we stayed there because of other unfit accommodations. The price was great (~$240) for a peak time during Hannukah and it was a two bedroom suite. The pool is indoors and heated and is well-maintained. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious, more than enough. It is not the most elaborate Israeli breakfast, but like I said, it has many choices and is much better than a standard continental breakfast you'd get in the USA. The rooms were a little worn down, but nothing could beat the value. The location of the hotel was also perfect. Will certainly look to stay here again for an affordable hotel in a great part of the country.

An okay hotel, not accessible for baby strollers (or wheelchairs). The rooms were fine, the hotel feels mostly clean and organized. The food was ordinary but on the good side. It's not an expensive hotel and it feels like that, which is fine. All and all, we had a good experience but we're not impressed.

The converted hotel is a nice idea. The suite we received is actually a small apartment that can accommodate 6 people in relative comfort. The place is clean and the service is very good, the swimming pool is lovely, the meals there are good and varied. We took the action package through the hotel so that all the activities were organized and we did not have to run around looking for activities.

What a nice suprise. I looked for a hotel at the last minute and had zero expectations. The hotel is old and in a quiet section . Staff are super helpful, friendly and polite. Rooms are huge, clean and comfortable. Obviously a lot of thought has gone into making the guests happy.Food was fantastic (dinner and breakfast)!Nice family friendly hotel. Recommended.

Family oriented hotel, we had 2 bedrooms, one for the kids and one for adults. There is a decent size kitchen and dining room as well as a living room. A TV in each room and in the living room. The hotel is near the crater promenade. There is an indoor pool. Breakfast is served.

During my work with Tailor Made Birthright Israel, I had the privilege of staying at Ramon Suites last year with a group, and it was there that I first met Merlene Ruth at the front desk. I had never been to Mitzpe Ramon before, but the moment I started speaking with her, she immediately made me feel at home in a city that was completely new to me. She took the time to share her personal story and her family’s journey, and she went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our stay was welcoming and seamless. This year, I had the chance to bring my parents to Israel for the very first time, and even though our itinerary made Ramon Suites a little out of the way, I insisted we stay here for one night so they could meet the person who made Israel feel like home to me. To our delight, Merlene was at the front desk again when we checked in, and her warmth, professionalism, and radiant charm were just as unforgettable as the first time we met. Merlene Ruth is the kind of person who transforms a simple hotel stay into a meaningful experience. She embodies true hospitality and leaves a lasting impression that makes guests want to return—not just for the comfort of the hotel, but for the heart she brings to it.

Just came back from a two night stay at Ramon Suites. From before we arrived at the hotel (when we called to ask a question about the room and when they then called to ask us about rooming preferences), the staff was kind a courteous and helped us in any way possible. Especially Keren, the head of housekeeping who was happy to do anything she could to make us feel comfortable! The hotel is set up really wonderfully for families with children, there are suites with two bedrooms and a living room for abundant sleeping space. The breakfast is basic but everyone found something they liked. And my children loved the pool! There is also a small area to play soccer outside the rooms that was good for kids. Hotel is one block from the Ramon Crater, and you can walk along the crator edge to get to the visitors center as well. Ibex roam freely in the streets and it's a very cool thing to see.
